House of Oak was established in Helsinki to bridge brutalist structural geometry with Nordic timber traditions. We consider furniture not as transient decor, but as permanent architectural elements that define domestic volume and spatial psychology.
Our visual language fuses Swiss typographic principles with monolithic furniture silhouettes. Uncluttered lines, heavy proportions, and unvarnished natural surfaces invite light and shadow to articulate interior architecture.
Every log utilized in our workshop is fully traceable to certified managed forests in Finland and Sweden. For every mature tree harvested for our collection, three saplings are planted, ensuring a fully regenerative forestry cycle.
